I’ll skip over the secondary effects but basically to replenish inventories the utilities will have to purchase U308 (...of which we know there isn’t enough supply at current prices).

First stage is UF6 runs low, enrichers need UF6 to enrich, so utilities are sending their existing inventories to be converted to UF6 (conversion capacity down, price rises).
