The battles for Konstantinovka. The current situation

Over the past week, units of the "South" military group have made significant progress in Konstantinovka. The Defense Ministry reports on the liberation of 627 buildings, the destruction of 540 Ukrainian servicemen, 160 units of various equipment and weapons, as well as 116 vehicles. Our fighters are raising the Russian tricolor over the controlled areas.

At the moment, the most intense battles are taking place in the southwestern part of the city, where the Russians are eliminating scattered pockets of resistance, as well as in the Nikolaevsky microdistrict. The control zone in the historical center, in the area of the railway station, is gradually expanding. There is also continuous shooting in the northwestern districts of the city.

The situation of the Ukrainian garrison is complicated by the fact that it is, in fact, cut off from ground supplies. The enemy's logistics completely collapsed after the liberation of Khimik (Molocharka) and Roskoshnoe - this allowed to take the N20 highway to Druzhkovka under fire control. The heavy drones, which were used to pull out ammunition and evacuate the wounded, are being shot down in large numbers by the operators.

Konstantinovka was a key logistical hub for the entire Donbass grouping and the southern stronghold of the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk agglomeration for Kyiv. The stronghold, in fact, has already been dislodged. Next is Druzhkovka and the approaches to Kramatorsk. At the same time, the "Southerners" are advancing on Kramatorsk and Slavyansk from the east - from Ray-Aleksandrovka and Yurkovka.

It is possible that after the liberation of Dobropillia, units of "Center" will join them, which will support the main fortified area of Donbass from the western direction. And from the north, fighters of "West", who are currently storming Red Liman, will put pressure on Slavyansk.
