@TriHippo @Doiregaa No group stage, straight to a seeded Quarter Final based on last years championship. Winners to semi final and SF losers play intermediate final. QF losers go into JHC. 2 teams will only get 2 games, added to a 7 game league means 9 meaningful games for the entire season.
Great work again by @Doiregaa CCC with the Hurling formats for 2024. No mention at all of leagues and a maximum of 3 games in championship, versus a minimum of 6 in football. The total disregard and disrespect for our national game and those playing and trying to promote it.
@CahairOKane1 @7 No doubt the team is a totally different dynamic, but so much of the additional load on players is conditioning or gym work. With a little bit of trust and common sense there's no reason for this to be a collective session.
@malmcmullan That table says a lot Mal about the regard given to hurling in Derry. Half the amount of games across league and championship and teams who make a final given one week to prepare!
Well done to Big Ruairi who is out in Kenya volunteering and helping the locals. He organised new sets of jerseys for the children of the area. Great stuff Big R! 🇰🇪 🟢⚪️
Sean Francis, James and Cathal have represented their families, their club and their county superbly over the last few months in Derry’s run to the Christy Ring Cup Final in Croke Park today. Brilliant role models for our young players. 🟢⚪️
