The music industry is so focused on milking the past that it’s practically suffocating anything new and innovative…The whole system is designed to churn out hits that sell, not art that lasts.
Why the Old Hits Harder Now https://t.co/iHjGjYMRdv
So @CimasMedical is INCREASING their premiums by almost 50%, while at the same time REDUCING membership benefits🤦♂️
All this while not providing a money-back plan, meaning if I don't get sick the whole year, they simply walk away with ALL my money🙌
Make it make sense🤦♂️🤦♂️
On the run: Bad Boys-style. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back in #BadBoys: Ride or Die - exclusively in movie theaters June 7 @WillSmith2real@badboys
As a person who has formerly worked in Investment Banking, here is my 2 cents. In Zimbabwe it’s good to have Entrepreneurial Seminars but the Currency, Policies and SI instruments any day can say “NOT TODAY SATAN”
It’s not that people can’t do business. It’s not that people do not have the knowledge of doing business. It’s not even about capital, and certainly not even knowledge of operations, running a solid supply chain whether it’s B2C or B2B.
As long as you are in Zimbabwe the government can tell you your USD is now RTGS and you will be Mpurwa like those who never did anything.
The message is always, make the quickest cash, convert part of it into immovable assets, the other solidly run a business which you see your cash in and out month in month out.
When you see the economy sinking, ie bad decisions by government, just break even before rePumping to full scale. The MATTRESS is your best bank !!. Only keep in the bank business cycle money, day to day operations and open offshore accounts for the other monies.
The Money Market and Capital Market in Zimbabwe is an absolute joke and quite risky that entrusting that it can hold your investments from your business with the hope of good returns can be laughable.
Going Concern and Sustainability is a foreign concept to many businesses. NOT because they lack the will for growing businesses. NO
but it is difficult to even do risk models, or solid financial models for hedging without knowing what policy will be implemented tomorrow.
Small businesses in Zimbabwe are usually 25 chickens muChirugu, a table of Avon products in Kwame Mall, a hector of cabbage which will be sold at Mbare or at Spar, Cellphone shop pa ZIMEX, a restaurant kuma Industry, supplying ice kuma Vendor , etc it’s never upcoming automation companies or AI defined businesses, or something other than kusona ma African Attire.
If you ask me HOW are people in businesses then making money in Zimbabwe, I will say “those who have been in the game, have mastered the art of watching this volatile market, know when to break even, know what to keep in business, know when to inject more capital, know where to keep cash”. DO THE SAME !!!!
Zimbabwe is so difficult to navigate long term because of its volatility, it’s inability to stay calm, we have lost soooooo many great companies, soooo many operations of businesses that could lead to generational change, but here we are.
Zimbabwe is kiya wa kiya, ita zvinokupa mari day iroro, month iyoyo, gore iroro.
Lastly incase you want to argue, if you think Zimbabwe is SUSTAINABLE, l want you to bring numbers, not stories, proper models of how pensions wiped out 3 times since 1980 let alone now why they thought they’d be paid an equivalent of 1300 USD but stand in the queue for $44.89.
Attack on Titan being released while Israel is invading Palestine is deep. You can see a lot of the themes in real life and the anime. Especially the anger of the protagonist.
Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe has launched an export guide for Zimbabwean exporters and business entities seeking to understand and penetrate the Chinese market as trade between the two countries has been growing over the years. #GLOBALink

It’s clear that Zim media is underesourced and understaffed. There is so much they could have done and portrayed using infographics. #ZimbabweDecides2023
It's still incredible to me that Uber set up what were obviously illegal taxi operations, called it something else and eventually got virtually every city in North America to roll over, say "okay!" and either tear down taxi regulations or set up two parallel regulatory regimes.
