This vehicle was stolen in a burglary in Liverpool earlier tonight! #Syn4 located and returned the vehicle within 2 hours to the owner with no pursuit and no damage!!

Last night, one of the team conducted an operation alongside @MerseySpecials, Mersey Tunnels Police & @lcc_licensing. Focusing on a location that was involved in a recent fatality then followed on with a operation at the tunnel. A number of arrests and other outcomes. (A thread)

Officers this evening pursued an illegal electric motorcycle. With the assistance of @NPASNorthWest the bike was followed until he was cornered and detained. Whilst riding he discarded an item which was recovered by a @MerPolDogs patrol and found to be a large knife.

Through the night officers disturbed two males wearing ski masks as they were seen tampering with an ATM machine before they made off & disappeared. 10 minutes later PD Quga arrived and within 60 seconds she tracked & located one male hiding under metal fencing #thenoseknows 👏

Last night 19 Cheshire and @MerseySpecials came together as part of a joint working and experience sharing cross-border operation.

The team worked across Halton & Liverpool City Centre and it was a huge success.

Chief Officers Boland & Lyons from both forces also joined the Op.

Driver of this transit van was seen flashing oncoming motorists to warn them of a speed check site up ahead. Unbeknown to them, there was an unmarked RPU car in front of them. Vehicle stopped, quick test and flashed up positive for drugs, driver now under arrest! #RoadSafety

#Result ✅ Recently, a male was sentenced to 3 & 1/2 years in prison following his arrest by @MerseySpecials and subsequent conviction for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs in Liverpool City Centre after being found in possession of a large quantity of crack cocaine.

Last week, @MerseySpecials in Liverpool witnessed a suspected drugs transaction, a male made off and was subsequently detained after a foot pursuit and found in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs, he was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A #arrested

Last Sunday, officers on patrol in the Old Swan area of Liverpool have sighted a vehicle to collide with street furniture, despite trying to make off, officers where able to swiftly detain the driver, who presented as intoxicated and blew 102 at the roadside. #fatalfive

This Sur’ron failed to stop for Police in the Kensington area this evening. After a short pursuit we got the crushing process started by parking a Volvo on it. 2 males tried to make off but were detained by one of our dog patrols. Both arrested #MRPU #SYN1 #DOGS #MATRIX
