So happy today as I received my Gold medal for over 7years service as a special constable with @GMPSpecials @GMPCityCentre @GMPLongsight I also received my covid-19 coin in recognition of my dedication to serve the communities.

@itsadamuk @gmptraffic Police don’t issue fines on the street. The officers can report the driver for the offences and the ticket team determine course of action eg speed awareness course. Officers can also summons the driver to appear at court where the court can issue fines and/or points.

This is my last week as a call handler. Next week I start training as a radio op, still in @gmpolice. The past 5 years have been challenging but enjoyable and have had great times with my team. It is fitting that my final week is #InternationalControlRoomWeek #unsungheroes
