I was recently asked, “When you imagine a developed India in 2047, what does that India look like to you beyond economic growth, infrastructure and technology? And what role do you hope your generation will have played in building it?”

I took some time to answer because I have always looked at life through short milestones, one competition, one goal, one step at a time. Thinking 20 years ahead made me pause.

I thought about many things, but I kept coming back to my own journey... If a girl from a remote part of Jammu & Kashmir can go on to represent India and compete at the highest level, I believe there are thousands of other young people across the country who can do the same if they are given the right support, opportunity...

For me, India in 2047 is not only about how much we build, but how many lives we are able to lift along the way. As India grows, I hope we never forget what makes us human. Technology will change, cities will grow and opportunities will expand, but humanity, humility and kindness should always remain at the heart of our progress.

I may not know exactly what India will look like in 2047, but I know what I would like to have contributed: a little more opportunity, a little more kindness, and a little more belief in what is possible. I hope my generation helps build an India where every child gets the chance to dream, every dream gets the chance to grow, and where, even as we move forward, we never forget to stand by one another.

అదే వేదికపై స్పందించిన ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా క్లస్టర్లవారీగా హస్తకళాకారుల కోసం ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. గత నెలలో నరసాపురంలో క్రోచెట్ లేస్ కళాకారుల కోసం నిర్వహించిన నేత్ర వైద్య శిబిరంలో 141 మందికి కళ్లజోళ్లు అవసరమని వైద్యులు సూచించారు. ఆ 141 మందికి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు కళ్లజోళ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
• మరిన్ని నేత్ర వైద్య శిబిరాల నిర్వహణకు సన్నాహాలు
శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి ఆదేశాల మేరకు క్లస్టర్ల వారీగా హస్తకళాకారుల కోసం ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరాలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. క్రోచెట్ లేస్ కళాకారుల కోసం నిర్వహించిన మొదటి నేత్ర వైద్య శిబిరంలో పరీక్షలు చేయించుకున్న వారికి కళ్లజోళ్లు సిద్ధం కాగా, పాలకొల్లు పరిధిలోని యలమంచిలి, అత్తిలిలో మరో రెండు శిబిరాలు పూర్తయ్యాయి. ఈ రెండు శిబిరాల్లో దృష్టి లోపాలు ఉన్నట్లు గుర్తించిన మరో 350 మందికి కూడా ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు కళ్లజోళ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయిస్తున్నారు. మరో 20 మందికి పైగా కంటిశుక్లం (చుక్కల వ్యాధి) సమస్య ఉన్నట్లు వైద్యులు గుర్తించారు. వారికి శస్త్రచికిత్సలు చేయించనున్నారు. క్రోచెట్ లేస్ కళాకారుల కోసం ఆచంట, నరసాపురంలో మరో రెండు నేత్ర వైద్య శిబిరాలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
