@scmedicinals How to do this:
- Go outside and live life
- find things you enjoy
- follow people who do set things you like/enjoy
- learn
- put out your own perspectives
- balance consumption with output beyond social media
Congrats, your now high-functioning in today’s society.
@thought_harbor So true, your relationship to self also is your relationship towards life. Life will never treat you fairly if you can’t even treat yourself the same way
Electrolyte + beetroot powder + then coffee with cocao, cinnamon, ashwaganda extract (mix), creatine, some pink salts, lions mane
My theory is that water mixture initially increase blood flow / activity, making absorption of coffee mix stronger. I honestly do feel a difference in mood neutrality, ease of output, less overthinking. Another nice addition to this is 200mg l-theanine. Soothes the onset of extra caffeine intake.
The honey-moon phase of motivation -> turned into discipline is strong. You want to workout everyday, build everyday, grow grow grow.
That seems like discipline and ascension, until you burnout.
That identity shake is one of the most terrifying presecenes to live through.
You can either become so disciplined that you move regardless of emotion, or succumb to your emotions aligning to what’s comfortable and less output.
Output eventually becomes less demanding, and instead more of a choice.
You can get out of shape just as quick you can get in it, it can also be a slow burn that will kill even more. My motivation now heavily leans on how stable I can keep myself without falling off the rails of the highs, or lows.
Interesting perspective, every desicion we make neglects a seperate reality we could’ve lived through.
What can be hard is we may know how such reality would make us feel, but the benefits are far less then what should be done instead, even if there’s less enjoyment initially.
The higher price you pay initially pays off after, the cheaper option still leaves the more expensive one avaliable, just now even more costly.
@dantefofante Control in a world of materializations is one of the biggest forms of self respect.
I also find lower quality food you eat, the more of it you can eat. Whole foods are called such for a reason
This seems subjective to trends, not reality of being fit and healthy.
Commitment to health and wellness means you're focusing on health, strengths, weaknesses, endurance, and maintenance overtime.
Yes, aging = more physical maintaining
Doesn't mean it won't start at 18.
In my experience most athletes treat the gym as a recovery, maintenance, strength centre, not a place to just look better.
@danwestworld Honestly I've been really liking Hormozi's instagram q&a's at his events. So many diff biz perspectives, lots of practical takeaways.
I love navals philosophies, but i love hormozi's practicality when it comes to scaling. Two different icons.
I agree,
Some seasons (summer spring) I find naturally align to looser routines & disciplines, allowing for more "bloom" of character and personality. Embracing liveliness feels great until you feel derailed and unaligned to actual goals and future incentives.
In other seasons (winter fall), easier to align to tighter disciplines and structure as it's almost somewhat comforting; Planting the seeds for blooming periods. However things do feel a bit more stale, and eventually could lead to burnout.
How I see it? A natural cycle of change that doesn't need to be fought with, but worked alongside.
@_TrueVoodoo i find this is because less theory and more action; not that the books are "useless" (how we obtain most of the knowledge) but the balance between input to output is/was unbalanced.
