@RoninMaguigan@JonesBo48877381 Has to be his lack of movement, Falcons OL looked passable if not downright good in the 3 games I’ve watched (TNF, SNF, Panthers). Has good talent, good coaching, and good run game
@juss1700@FantasyKash Don’t even have to go to college, quite frankly Panthers coaching infrastructure just was much more young QB friendly (Dave-Brad-Harringer) + experience with mitigating habits out of “busts”, I genuinely don’t see what the appeal with Daboll even was here
@runnin4tay50001@KevinCole___ Also depedent on what the QB is asked of in system, Caleb/Penix can miss easy gimmes but they also can cash in on high leverage plays in terms of EPA so thats why there is such a stark difference there (PFF really dings for missing easy stuff, and doesn't reward enough for hard?)
@runnin4tay50001@KevinCole___ If their far above the trend line, it's generally that their system (O/EPA) does more relatively than their actual skill(Caleb,Penix, etc), while if their below it means that their skill is able to maximize the system (CJ,BY,Pat). Obv only 5 games through so things can change
@Shauncore CJ TD regression otw is what I'm getting from this-as long as defense stabilizes and run offense can level to like a teensy bit better (hopefully)
@0xELL10T Blue check and ragebait, blows my mind they have this animosity when every tech field is built off the back of PhD level math work in some capacity. We do not hate the tech industry enough.
@Panthers_Stats It’s still Dave’s offensive system tho, he designs it-just doesn’t call plays on Sunday. Akin to how Falcons have done it this year as well, Stefanski designs-Rees calls. Feel like we are not crediting Dave enough on this conversation. (Respectfully)
@thusspokepurcel@Fansplain3r@KevinCole___ PFF scaling just gives you context of which QBs are performing better beyond just scheme (offensive epa) CJ/BY/Pat and which ones are fine but also enabled by a great system (TLaw/Penix/Caleb). Think it’s a good way to reflect eye test vs just offensive performance
