@bowtiedmeathead For the record,I'm on no meds. At my annual physical for the past five years or so, the doctor has told me that most men my age are on one or more meds already.
@bowtiedmeathead That's my primary goal. Lift 3-4 times a week. Hike 5-10 miles 2-3 times a week. Dropped from 260 to 185 while getting stronger. Looking better is nice, but I'm 57 and looking forward to 20+ more active years. I want to live, not just survive.
Disappointed in @GovernorShapiro for not sending representatives from PA at the Great American State Fair. Thanks to both @SenFettermanPA and @SenMcCormickPA for assembling a delegation to represent a state that is the birthplace of America.
@tyromper It depends on which side of the political spectrum the rich person is in. Rich conservative - take it all from the immoral cheater. Rich liberal - so moral and pure they should be left alone! <sarcasm>. Didn't forget liberals loved Elon when he was only pushing EVs.
@DeanTTraining You are correct. Unfortunately, I'm up, quick banana and greek yogurt and lifting an hour before I start. It's the only way to make my schedule work consistently. I'll take consistency.
@DeanTTraining Hit 66,000+ one day back in October. Walked 33 miles with a friend. I had built up to it and did ok. He didn't build up and almost puked at the end.
@TheJoeySwoll I was 260 (at 5'9") at one time. Now I'm 185 with more muscle. Honestly, I was self conscious at the gym at first. But you are correct - the gym is exactly where I needed to be.
@bowtiedmeathead My daughter's travel softball organization has a tradition of taking pictures with second place trophies - tossing them in a trash can while frowning and giving a thumbs down.
