@Nitrus_x REAL, but I think it's cause of 2 reasons. One, the tech sector (which many furries are in) has slowly been recovering, and two, furries are generally just smarter, especially those in STEM. Got SO many friends getting jobs but that's cause they're just cracked and well connected

@CaesarSays_ If you're worried your distro may have the vuln, do
xz --version
and check if it's version 5.6.0 or 5.6.1. Those 2 are the only ones known to contain the backdoor. If yours is on either of those versions, downgrade it back to the latest stable 5.4.6 release.

@CaesarSays_ There aren't any major production releases that contain the compromised versions of xz Utils. The only distros it's been found in have been unstable releases of Fedora and Debian and a stable release of Arch.
