Great day today doing the Wirral costal walk for meningitis in memory of our Craig thanks to all that sponsored us and also thanks to the people who stopped us along the way to give us a donation we really do appreciate it all xx @scattysix@MeningitisNow
Right now there aren’t the words. To share that moment with you all. I’m stunned, not surprised. Stunned. The greatest people in the world. Adrenaline has gone and tears are coming, hands down the pinnacle of my life.
I can’t describe how much I love you all.
Thank you #SWA
My legend of a brother unfortunately died 33 years ago today from meningitis he gave his organs to save 2 boys lives and they lived, I’ve ran 7 marathons and x8 48 miles mostly for @MeningitisNow and he’s still my only hero - sleep well 🙌🏻
This is contemptible. All of it.
Millions of people obeyed the rules HE created - and he brazenly ignored them multiple times. Now he’s lying away, playing the victim, and taking the whole country for morons. #cummings
Three 12hr shifts done, One day off and then back in for four 12hr shifts. I’m tired, my feet are sore and I miss my kids. Remember stay at home and stay safe. We’ve got you. ❤️ #nhs
Meningococcal disease: #meningococcal deaths in children & adults are known to occur rapidly, but hadn’t expected almost 90% of deaths to occur within 1 day of diagnosis. Highlights the importance of MenB & MenACWY #vaccines for prevention. Our paper here👉https://t.co/5guvNg9qXd
8 years ago our world stopped. Our beautiful boy died aged just 5. We remember him everyday, but a little bit more on this one. As someone once told me, you never get over, you just get on. Life is very fragile, you got to try and love every moment.
Every day, we are amazed by the resilience and the generosity of families who've endured unimaginable loss. In this video, Yvonne Stewart tells the story of losing her little boy, Jack, to bacterial meningitis and sepsis.
Why does this effect me every time I see stories like this.
I was 44 years old@ I smoked and drank alcohol yet I survived I may have had both legs amputated below the knee but I’m still here. I would willingly swap places with any of these poor young children RIP little one.
The only Links Rechts video you’ll ever need. Beefeaters, Bananaman, kids forced to where our hats whether they like it or not......oh and a T’Rex on his way to the shops 🤣. Peak Beefeater Bend!
