The WEF did not invite TWIN for a panel
@TWINGlobalOrg is the topic of the panel !
Excited to read more about the UN Asia Pacific Forum after the 10.06. About next steps for TWIN in Asia, about Siemens involvement and much more
Everyone gave up on IOTA. That’s the most bullish thing I can say about it.
In 2011, Bitcoin was a joke. A toy for nerds. Forums were full of obituaries. The people who understood what it actually was, a new layer of financial infrastructure bought while everyone else laughed. We know how that ended.
I think about that a lot when I look at IOTA.
The chart looks like a crime scene. Retail got burned multiple times. Nobody in crypto talks about it. And while the space was busy chasing NFTs, yield farms, and the next meme coin, IOTA was quietly doing something nobody does in this industry: building something real.
Not a whitepaper. Not a testnet. Real governments, real borders, real freight running on IOTA. The African Union’s trade body is rolling it out across three countries. This week TWIN, the trade network, is panel topic at a UN conference in Bangkok, organized by the Asian Development Bank. The co-founders include the World Economic Forum and the Tony Blair Institute. You don’t get those names with vaporware.
Bitcoin in 2011 had no institutional backing. No government pilots. No proven real-world use case. Just an idea radical enough to be ignored. IOTA in 2026 has all of that and still trades like it’s dead.
Is ATH the target? Wrong question. The 2017 ATH was pure speculation, zero real usage. What exists today is incomparably stronger. The market IOTA is going after is $35 trillion. ATH is a rest stop, not the destination.
I could be wrong. Patience is the actual investment here. And if I’m wrong so be it, but I’m taking this opportunity because you regret the choices you didn’t make, not those you took and failed.

APC joined @AptosLabs, @Cardano_CF, @iota, @SuiFoundation, and @StellarOrg in a comment letter to @TheFCA on its proposed cryptoasset perimeter guidance.
Our message is simple: the regulatory perimeter should focus on actual financial intermediation, not neutral infrastructure.
That means:
🫧 “arranging” should not sweep in technical or connectivity services
🔐 staking should be regulated where there is custody, control, or intermediation
🔹 infrastructure providers should be clearly distinguished from financial intermediaries
Clear boundaries make for better policy. 📝

Great to stand alongside @aptoslabs, @AvalanchePolicy, @cardano_cf, @SuiFoundation, & @stellarorg on this.
Infrastructure is not intermediation. To protect the future of UK digital asset markets, we must regulate custody and control, and not the neutral base layers that run them. ⤵️
Hey, my beloved $IOTA community. This time, I have something personal to share. It doesn't have anything to do with IOTA right off the bat, but since this is the only community I have, there’s no one else I could share this with. Over the last few weeks, I’ve built an app that is now available in the Apple App Store. It would mean the world to me if some of you could give it a try. If you cancel during the trial period, it’s completely free. Maybe you even have some ideas on how to integrate IOTA into it. I’m looking forward to your reviews. Thanks for reading. ❤️

A 10% improvement in automating border procedures could boost global goods exports by up to 18%.
The bottleneck isn't the goods.
It's the process around them.

"Our biggest competition is paper documents. Because trade is a very archaic system." @DomSchiener on the trust problem in global trade, speaking at the @wkforum.
Our partners include: governments, institutions, port authorities, and trade bodies across multiple continents.
Neutral infrastructure, it turns out, travels well.
Yesterday, I received a delegation from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (@institutegc) and the IOTA Foundation, led by TBI Nigeria Country Director, Obianuju Uchenna and Senior Advisor Alban Odhiambo.
We discussed streamlining cross-border trade through ADAPT (Africa Digital Access and Public Infrastructure for Trade) - a strategic initiative by the @afcftasecretariat to operationalize the Protocol on Digital Trade. This critical infrastructure will lower trade costs, accelerate customs clearance, and unlock new markets for Nigerian businesses.
