@KeeganMatheson That was a horrible lapse of mind by Valenzuela. It could have been very costly. It likely will be when he appears before the Kangaroo Court if the Jays have one. As a minimum I’m sure it will be a long time before he makes that mistake again.

@mattormita Yes, those things are not the fault of the staff. But this latest rash of hamstring strains and pulls is a concern. Years ago I heard backwards running strengthens hamstrings and prevents these injuries. Why basketball players are not prone to them.

@KeeganMatheson I don’t see the Jays in the playoffs. The roster has so many issues; not enough starters and even Trey and Kevin are struggling, the Pen is worn out/ fading, the lineup can’t hit in key situations, the defence is shaky, and the team makes too many stupid mistakes. Sell.

@KeeganMatheson The Jays starting staff is in trouble; Yesavage is still searching for his 2025 form, Gausman is not nearly as strong as 2025, Corbin is weakening, and any one who thinks Bieber or Scherzer are anything more than placeholders is not paying attention. And the Pen is worn out.

@KeeganMatheson There is no guarantee that Barger will return to his 2025 form. He started poorly before his first injury ( I thought it was a shoulder injury from making that throw to the plate). Any the team gets from him will be a surprise.

@KeeganMatheson I suspect if they lose out on Tucker, they will pursue Bellinger quickly. They need an outfielder that bats left, more than another infielder (Bo), that bats right and is a poor fielder. I am losing confidence that Tucker is as keen on Toronto as we originally thought.
