Friday afternoon, the North Carolina Supreme Court struck a blow to Justice Allison Riggs, paving the way for challenger Jefferson Griffin to eventually win November's election (in June).
The high state court ruled that the 60,000+ ballots lacking proper registration details would be counted, however, they also ruled that the set of UOCAVA voters who never verified their ID (because the NC system does not allow for it) would be given 30 calendar days to do so or have their ballots thrown out.
The court also left in place the appeals court decision to toss 273 UOCAVA ballots because these voters have never lived in North Carolina and were deemed ineligible to vote in non-Federal races.
Data provided by @BryanRAnderson shows why, if Riggs is unsuccessful in the Federal Appeals Court, she is likely to lose.

Since we launched this campaign, I’ve been humbled by the record-breaking start & all of the support that has come in from across Arizona.
From President @realDonaldTrump at the White House to voters all over AZ the momentum behind our campaign is growing every day.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me, and I can’t wait to be a Governor for all of the great people of our state.

A shocker for me given the tariff war: The GOP seems to be in their best position ever for the party who cares more for the needs of people like yourself.
A tie on a metric that Dems have historically led by double digits.
The reason? Huge GOP gains among the working class.

Why is preventing illegal immigrants voting in elections, a position that the overwhelming majority of Americans hold, a hill worth dying on for democrat politicians?
In political terms, do you consider yourself to be a Republican or a Democrat (with indie leaners)
🔴 Republican: 46%
🔵 Democrat: 41%

From @KitMaherCNN: Governor Gretchen Whitmer is in the Oval for Trump's EO signing today
Trump offers effusive praise, saying he's "honored to have Gretchen Whitmer from Michigan, the great State of Michigan, and she's been, she's really done an excellent job, very good person."
For years, deep-red Texas was shifting toward Democrats at lightning speed. That momentum screeched to a halt in 2024, but the state is now competitive enough for Dems to win the odd statewide race. Could they flip the 2026 Senate race if the GOP nominates AG Ken Paxton runs?
