@artetak They also spend the entire game mourning her and getting over her loss. I genuinely do not get the idea to make a game about her after all that. Didn't watch Kratos and Atreus mourn her for an entire game just to play her in Valkyrie Apocalypse: God of War edition.
@billy4389@KnownAsSys Ah yes. Caring means doing fuck all to protest the abysmal state of the game and the clear lack of ressource being allocated to it. Yup, shoulda just kept playing endlessly and never protest by leaving the game hoping that it would make the company panic.
@MuItimach I mean first of most people just want an announcement. And it's not going to take this long to make. Simply because sony is not going to take the risk of letting the franchise be forgotten. Even if they gotta rush the game.
@UndercardTV Showing up for what? No one knew the game was going to end so abruptly and showing up would have invalidated the bad choices upper management made. So what the strategy would have been to accept everything so the game doesn't die? People leave when a live service sucks, that's it
@SMYXKUZA2005@Laz1527805@gemahtreeuhh About 300k across all platforms which is pretty respectable for a game that bungie was already letting go of to work on marathon. Shame that marathon bombed and that they preferred a risky ip over...I dunno, like, their biggest franchise? But hey, it is what it is. Wrong bet.
@CyberVapor1978@RickKackis Well it's understandable but Sony has a whole graveyard of IPs they have never done anything with. Destiny could join it if Bungie is dismantled. For as much as we might have gripes, heavy gripes, with them, Sony is maybe even more dangerous in this case.
@CyberVapor1978@RickKackis Guess what. When the options are 'no D3' or ' D3 might be shit', most of us would still let the possibility of it being shit. Pretty stupid way to see things, yes, but we want the game. Passion has never been logical. It's kinda the point. Ain't no one loves the company itself.
@IremanSamp32901@DestinLegarie It's incredible how some people seem to be certain that a community simply does not have a right to protest bad decisions by hurting a company's wallet. People cared, which is precisely why everyone is hurting right now. We weren't going to just remain in the game out of loyalty.
