1/. I love taking care of babies and children with CHD, but I will never stop fighting for their potential parents’ right to CHOOSE. yes, there’s joy and inspiration but there’s also risk and suffering. and that’s life.
2/ As a parent, you walk around with your ❤️ living outside of your body. the drive to do absolutely anything to love & protect is innate and powerful. but for CHD parents there’s a leap to let go of little hands, kiss tiny faces and leave them in the hands of surgical teams.
