@bernhardsson Subscribe. I once worked an app release project plan with uncertainties on tasks and proper error propagation. My PMP project manager nearly had a stroke seeing the variance! He claimed that uncertainties just averaged out which is why projects finished on their deadlines.
It’s always great to get a positive result but nothing comes close the occasion we witnessed this afternoon & the relationships formed with our hosts @The_HarpersAFC The love, kindness and sense of being apart of something special was just beautiful 😍 Much love too @pirmas697 ❤️
@nitsanw I did the same introspection: all 6 of my prior employers went through disruptive M&A of some kind. Maybe I was a chaos master too?! The only two orgs still standing: Cisco (where I am today) and MIT (who hired me as an engineer after my MS.) Disclaimer, your mileage may vary.
@basedbeezy I recall 9/11 vividly. I was listening to Howard Stern when he broke in with breaking news. I watched the second plane hit WTC while in the Compuware fitness center with 100+ regulars. I asked af AF vet next to me why no fighter intercepts? He said too many civilians.
Near Detroit and interested in bytecode compilation and optimisation? Why not join Paul Naumann of @AzulSystems at DJUG with @schuetzematt tomorrow evening?
