@CarlsBeef How do the cubs find more creative ways to get Matt Shaw for playing time? The current lineups are rolling and you don’t wanna disrupt that too much but can Craig do anything to sneak him in for late inning action more

@b_acker70@Mario_Tirabassi This quote doesn’t surprise me in the slightest lol While ESPN is the rights holders for NHL broadcasts, their broadcasters are the biggest joke in the industry. It’s a shame they refuse to invest in real hockey minds or at a minimum people with some sense of the game’s history
@CarlsBeef Good mailbag/ball or strike for the MMCS later this week. Think if you ask this question a month ago it’s strike - Boyd 99 mph down the middle, but as of recently, it’s prob ball - Boyd has been up and down lately and don’t like that trend going into the playoffs
@WaddleandSilvy Players need to be held accountable, All Stars to the last man on the bench, it doesn’t matter. No player should be safe from praise when they perform well and criticism when they struggle. At this point in the season, Kyle Tucker is playing like a guy who deserves to be boo’d
@barstoolcarl First time caller, long time listener: Going into the second half of the season, how do you balance trying not to live and die with every Cubs game/result with having expectations for the team and wanting success.
@obvious_shirts Anyone that doesn’t say KB is just a fool in my book. Wanna talk about a ROY, MVP, face of the league who has completely fallen off to the point where he sadly can’t even stay on the field, that’s KB. A guy who was at the highest of highs to now the lowest of lows, it’s so sad
@JWerner247 This team is shades of 2022, Matthew Meyer team, undisciplined, loves shooting 3s, we can still ride with Illinois but still accept this team doesn’t have it
@WaddleandSilvy@DZederman Bumped into tons of Chicago athletes/coaches in the city. Best one was a few years ago bumping into Ozzie Guillen on the 18th fairway at the BMW championship a few years ago. Great guy, super nice even when he found out I was a Cubs fan
@DiecastReviews@BenPopeCST Maybe I’m just not a Crevier guy, I acknowledge that. It’s more Brodie to your point that is nothing more than a warm body out there. Waiver move is the perfect move after the deadline
