@vhairi_mack @In2science@scigallerymel@HaydenDaltonGeo Hey Vhars, the link seems to be down! Would love to try to organise some of our groups to come along - is there another way to access the booking link? Hope you're well!
As a science teacher, I'm focused on fostering students' excitement for science! I love seeing students' faces light up when they hear what we are learning about next, but even more so when they come up with amazing questions! The future is in good hands! #SciCommSeptember
Challenge 2!
Tell us about your STEM for #SciCommSeptember. What STEM do you do? Why do you love it, and more importantly, why should other people love it too?
I'm looking forward to seeing a bit of energy and enthusiasm here!
Bonus points if you can "explain it like I'm 5!"
@avid_podcast We're quite well set up at my school, all students have got devices and internet at home, so it could (and is for many) a whole lot worse. Looking forward to being a part of the discussion!
What a great idea!
I'm Connor, a secondary science teacher from Melbourne. I've got a background in #scicomm, Climate and Weather sciences and I'm interested in the cross section between direct instruction and inquiry learning in the science classroom.

Coming your way this Wednesday!
A STEM communication challenge, with prompts every second day to help you get active with sharing your story on social media!
Share your ideas and stories with the hashtag #SciCommSeptember
Are you going to try and get involved?
@CaitlinM314 That's great to hear! I'm keen to hear the results!
Similarly it's been a massive learning curve as well with teaching, but really enjoying it. Looking forward to getting back to the classroom!
@BronRyrieJones I've actually wondered this subconsciously but never questioned it like this. Had a lesson today where I introduced with SCs, but then had to define what some of the terms actually meant on the next slide.
Happy #ScienceWeek! We're counting down to 6pm AEST and the start of this year's #NationalScienceQuiz hosted by @CharliePick.
We'd like to take time to introduce our all-star panel of scientists & science communicators - read the thread to meet each of them. (1/7)
