True builders do it differently.

@Davyegld@Crypto_Jonesoff I agree with the post, but just how all this believers were shaped? millions in few months, dubai, faboulus meeting with glorious future...i mean, let's say that in this world there are seriouse lack of awerness and company take advantage of that.
Here's why I'm currently very enthusiastic about what @MultiversX is building.
After months of research, I believe MultiversX (EGLD) is one of the most solid and ready blockchain infrastructures for worldwide adoption.
Also, when benchmarked by market capitalization and fully diluted valuation, $EGLD is one of the most asymmetrical cryptocurrencies worth considering from a utility, technological, and even speculative perspective, in my opinion.
I first heard about MultiversX (formerly Elrond) in 2021, but it was still a relatively new project with a lot of promises not yet fully delivered. After the rebranding, I deliberately ignored it because I disliked the name and was skeptical without much time to dig deeper.
However, I finally decided to take a genuine look at the project earlier this year and was positively surprised.
I believe many will go through a similar path to mine, potentially reaching a similar conclusion.
FWIW, I still have interest in a few other projects that address other issues potentially better than MvX, but let's focus here on the positives. EGLD is easily among my top 3 favorite crypto.
Although it is not perfect, MultiversX has one of the best combination of attributes I am looking for.
## Commercial grade
Ready for any level of adoption RIGHT NOW. Not living of promises. It is ready.
## Scalability
MultiversX is the first (and arguably only) one to fully implement all three types of adaptative sharding in a battle-tested architecture for high scalability - which is the combination of high/elastic capacity and low hardware/resources requirements for nodes.
I have also learned a lot about sharding in the past few months, and I believe it is one of the best scaling strategies; and many criticisms I had before (or often see around) come from poor implementations, which MvX addresses.
Each MultiversX sharding has a theoretical limit of 10,000 TPS, currently performing 30,000 TPS with three shards.

## Efficiency
Currently, with 6s block time and low fees, it is not the most efficient, but it is among the best.
Not having prioritization fees protects users from MEV abuse and guarantees predictability.
Developers are also working to reduce the block time to below one second (~600ms), which will increase efficiency.
Cross-shard transactions usually require 3 blocks, currently taking approximately 20 seconds to complete.
## Native Token EGLD
The token is named eGold. Easily recognizable by most people with a direct comparison to e-mail, e-commerce, etc. It is the internet-native gold, from a branding/marketing perspective.
## Supply
The capped supply of 31.4 million EGLD will be fully issued by 2030 but can be even lower as fees can programatically replace emissions while rewarding validators, effectively diminishing the final supply.
## Tokenomics
This is far from being my favorite part, and investors/traders must still be cautious as it's not ideal, but it is already far better than most of its competitors for a complex L1 infrastructure.
Fundraised ~$5.15 million, with only $1.90 million to VCs in private investment rounds and $3.25 million on its Initial Coin Offerin (ICO), as public sales.
Even with comparatively low fundraising, the team was able to compete among highly capitalized projects and OG coins, gaining market share and receiving a prize in April 2024 as the "fastest growing blockchain."
All of the vesting contracts have already been unlocked, and EGLD supply inflation comes only from the Secure Proof-of-Stake emissions, which gas fees can replace, and anyone can take part by staking their EGLD.

## Decentralization
With over 3,500 validator nodes, MultiversX has the second-largest node count only losing to Ethereum. It's Nakamoto Coefficient is currently at 8, for liveness (33%), being one of the most decentralized blockchains.
## Community
The community is engaged and strongly focused on the technological aspects.
Still, not ignoring the financial aspects. #EGLDSqueeze
## Secure Proof of Stake (SPoS)
MultiversX's approach for consensus is called Secure Proof of Stake (SPoS). It innovates in the manner in which validator nodes are selected for consensus out of a shard and also in the steps taken by the validators to complete the consensus process as efficiently as possible.
More on that: https://t.co/A3NK3i1MYW
## Native Assets
The chain uses the eStandard Digital Token (ESDT), which is embedded in the protocol.
In MultiversX, all tokens are native assets, just like the EGLD, and are not smart contract-based like what happens in Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Tron, etc.
This guarantees more security and efficiency for users and developers. Without special authorizations to spend these tokens (as the old models require), issues like wallet drains after interacting with malicious smart contracts don't exist.
Every transaction must always carry its owner's signature.
## Guardian, onchain 2FA
Moreover, users can opt-in for an innovative onchain 2FA called Guardian - and MultiversX is the first chain I know that has this feature implemented (and battle-tested) in its protocol.
Guardian acts as a second signature that, if opted-in, must go on every transaction for it to be valid, adding a second-layer of protection.
@EgldHeist challenged that with a practical demonstration, leaking a ~$20k worth seed for a month, with over 6M visualization on X - nobody could steal the amount.
## xPortal
The most used wallet is xPortal, which was also developed by MultiversX Labs. xPortal received a prize in April 2024 for being the best cryptocurrency wallet and has some very interesting features.
It can now easily onboard new users in 10 seconds, has a gamified experience that rewards users with points and prizes, has the entire ecosystem embedded for safe access, can swap tokens and, and much more.
## MultiversX Labs
As MvX core developer and largest stakeholder, MultiversX Labs still has a strong influence in the chain, which is also changing over time, for example, with onchain governance recently implemented and a growing ecosystem.
Yet, the team has a solid and honest history developing the project and also owns other enterprises that act as revenue sources to continue funding development and awareness campaigns.
## Sovereign Chains
This is the currently most-pushed narrative by MvX Labs, which allows the creation of private/customizable blockchains directly connected with MultiversX, with full composability.
These other chains (which can have their own set of rules) act as shards of the mainnet, avoiding the need for complex bridges, etc.
## Market Cap and TVL
Ranked #83 with less than $710 million market cap, as of this writing, at $26/egld. It has $100 million in total value locked (TVL), resulting in an MCap/TVL of 7.32, one of the lowest ratios (which is good) among its main competitors.
## Ecosystem
Still under development but already a very healthy ecosystem with exciting projects being built on top of MvX.
@HatomProtocol , for example, is probably the best Lending protocol I have already interacted with, with a competent and serious team behind it.
XOXNO is innovating the use of NFTs for tickets, launching its MvP in a fitness event with over 12,000 participants, where the vast majority didn't have a crypto wallet before.
Wrote about this and other two startups building on MultiversX here: https://t.co/J4ak8yLkjW
There are also other interesting things going on in DeFi, art, gaming, documentation, RWA, etc.
## What is still missing?
In my opinion, MvX urgently needs a privacy protocol (like Tornado Cash) and a stronger presence in the Americas (North America and LATAM).
I would love, for example, to take my payments or pay with EGLD or a MultiversX stablecoin for some services I can already pay for using other chains (and I need to, as I'm taking 100% of my payments in crypto, directly spending in crypto ~33-66% of it monthly).
For that to happen with the best possible experience, a privacy protocol and higher adoption/implementations are still needed (I'm looking at you, @bitrefill).
I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of protocols, startups, apps, and experiences will surge in MultiversX in the following years. It's easily among my top 3 favorite cryptocurrencies in this space and the more I learn about MvX and EGLD, the more I like everything related.
