Just to clarify, because everyone now seems VERY confused:
Taylor Farms de Mexico has still been implicated in this cyclospora outbreak. The recall of shredded iceberg lettuce from last week still stands.
The false positive test was on lettuce coming over the border from Mexico that was NOT part of the recall. If that positive had been accurate, it would have meant *more* lettuce needed to be recalled.
In foodborne illness outbreaks *we often do not ever get positive tests to tie product to illness* especially for highly perishable products like lettuce. It's common to rely on other epidemiological evidence, as FDA and CDC are doing here.
Prediction: This is a public health communications nightmare that will be studied for a long time.
CDC cuts back foodborne illness surveillance program
The CDC's FoodNet program has reduced required surveillance from eight foodborne pathogens to two, a move some experts warn could leave the country more vulnerable to outbreaks.

in the interpenetrating satisfaction of your own desire through satisfying their desire

@Rainmaker1973@stclairashley Actually the change in test method (LCMS instead of immunoassay) is a much bigger factor in this trend than all the variables you've listed combined
@pli_cachete It's a philosophical hypothetical, an AI (or therapist) who sticks to one answer unflinchingly would be a bad thing, no? I don't see how this would relate to therapy, therapy is about holding a mirror to the patient so they can see themselves, not arguing with them
@b01dface@eigenrobot I've never seen evidence that natamycin is bad for gut health, has anyone studied this? Couldn't find anything with google scholar
Because Trump consistently and vocally renounced his most unpopular positions, directly on camera. He spent 2 years “opposing” abortion bans, threw Project 2025 under the bus, etc. The most Kamala would do is have an aide anonymously tell the press she no longer held a position
your body knows first. you can learn to articulate what you embody, that is, what you already know
you'll get better at it by practicing, using the tools that work for you, including but not limited to getting high
i vow to get better at meta-articulating how to grow this skill
