A new direction for @BLMNational will promote healthy communities in the West and protect wildlife, watersheds, and cultural resources. Say thanks for this bold, balanced vision for the nation’s largest land management agency. 👏🏽👏🏼👏🏻#ActNowForPublicLands https://t.co/EFCMmkWqYp
@saragottlieb I don't have a great answer, but I generally look up impact factor if I want a first estimate of if the journal might be good, and just take a few minutes to skim the introduction and methods if I want to get an initial estimate of paper quality.
Good news!

Even with major advancements in research, there’s much we don’t know yet about the ocean. I enjoyed reading about scientists who are uncovering these mysteries—from plastic pollution to mapping the ocean floor. https://t.co/2yVI0XDTwZ
Indigenous communities have long stewarded American lands and waters. The first Indigenous Marine Stewardship Area in the U.S. was recently established in California and will protect the area’s rich biodiversity and water. https://t.co/EljLvNBS8V
@YoleleFoods @agroecosteve I brought most of them to my chorus and they went pretty fast! We used commercial egg replacer instead of applesauce and added a little vanilla. I think next time I need to spend more time grinding the fonio to make it finer though

Our Blake Busse joined @kaleb_roedel to discuss how a new proposal would protect these historic forests from increasing threats. https://t.co/9ZpsU7B1eS
Unbelievable find! Scientists have discovered 20,000+ octopuses clustered around deep-sea volcanic springs—the largest known ‘octopus garden’ to date.
This latest discovery highlights how much we still don’t know about the deep-sea. https://t.co/4w1cSGUXJQ

“The more we can reconnect landscapes, or habitat patches, the more resilient and healthy these wildlife populations are generally going to be,” explained our @MattSkroch to @changcon.
How new research is helping accomplish that faster than ever. 👇https://t.co/2r8es76y5n

Kong is a foster dog ready to bring some joy to your life. He is a great partner for the dog park, hiking, playing ball in the yard, and cuddling on the couch. He has lots of love to give. He would enjoy a playful dog brother or sister, and gets along well with cats and kids.
“[The South Atlantic Salt Marsh Initiative] gives me hope that we can meet the challenges of our day—chief of them is sea level rise. If we don’t take action for salt marshes, we may not have them [in the future].” —Our @Coastal_Cam 👉https://t.co/RRH89YkIZ1
