The thing is the python has a wrapper around the dbus C API implementation, but when u do it in C++,ig there is no wrapper for it. So basically u create a wrapper instead of writing it.
Spent 5 hrs writing a small Hello D-Bus service in C++ still not working bcoz introspect needs to be implemented manually.
This same service uses just 10 lines of code in python. The library handled it all.
P.S.- writing in cpp did teach me what introspect and details.
Studying and doing work on C++ teaches you if something breaks fix it yourself. Just installed d-feet (An ongoing dbus sessions panel), just built it from meson bcoz they didn't build it for kali
