Last week, to celebrate Forensic Science Week, I launched my blog Forensic Chatter. This blog post discusses the many myths surrounding forensic science. Since this blog aims to educate and help dispel the “CSI effect”, its the perfect first post! 🔗Link: https://t.co/dgkLdmTBEg
If anyone knows any online science writing groups (whether it be for research, academia, sci comm, science journalism etc.) suggestions would be appreciated! I’ve been looking but I’m having trouble finding one that meets on a regular basis online.#research#academia#scicomm
However, in the process of watching these videos I did find two other open source softwares that make me feel like I could research and write anything! Zotero and ResearchRabbit - would highly recommend if you aren’t already using - I’m probably late to the party.
Only just realised how much time I’ve spent fixated on Obsidian and Zettlekasten YouTube videos over the last few days. If anyone sees this don’t bother looking up Obsidian, you’ll fall down the same rabbit hole, but if you do - I wish you luck. 😵💫
Yesterday, I officially graduated, class of 2021 with a Bachelors of Science with Honours in Forensic Science and Best Independent Research Project Level 6 of 2021. I truly couldn’t have done it without the support of my family and boyfriend, Allan.
A special thanks to all the lecturers that provided me with guidance along the way, particularly @Dr_Dan_Stratton , who was my AST at the time. And an honourable mention to @BarbaraGuinn1 who has been my surpervisor for the past 11 months whilst I have interned for the UoH, it -
