My name is Hugo Amorim. I am actually PhD Student in Parasite Biology on Oswaldo Cruz Institute - Rio de Janeiro/Brazil - Studying the characterization of metacaspase-1 as a therapeutic target in malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax specie in in vitro and in silico approaches.
The 30th of July is significant for me as it marks the day I became a Doctor in Science through my graduate program in Parasitic Biology at the best institute in Latin America (Fiocruz). I'm grateful for my colleagues and supervisor. Proud to be Dr. Amorim!
