In case anyone wants to know how I see the relationship between Bob and Yelena on Thunderbolts*, it's pretty much this image (shoutout to mo-mode, who posted it on tumblr):
@ExistentialBobo Well said. I'm not really in those circles, but having become a fan of Lewis since Thunderbolts, you obviously see some stuff. And I've definitely seen all the things you mention to some degree.
@AlexFromCC Well, the genetics of cat fur colours are pretty complex... no, I have no idea who you are talking about. Someone's a mutant, and it's surprising. Or someone who is a mutant is in something, and that's surprising.
@tbolts_news I love that he doesn't tell them. He just says it's different for every movie, and then he describes what he did for Thunderbolts to distinguish Bob's different states. Brilliant.
@AlexFromCC People took elements from your newest Cosmic Circus Q & A and are now claiming that Bob "will go missing" after SW. Not what you said, obviously, but of course people are believing this.๐
@thesentrim Bob is not rumoured to stay in space. Alex Perez said he thinks Bob might want to take a break after all he goes through in these two movies, and in the same Q&A, he mentioned Bob in the context of a potential Thunderbolts sequel.
@RachelLeishman Wolf dog played with him like one of our cats plays with frogs (we take them away from him, but he doesn't mean them harm, he really loves them. He just doesn't get they don't like being carried around.).
@therealKripke@POCculture@TheBoysTV Did he... did he think Homelander was the hero? I'm not even watching it, and even I know he's a broken POS fucked over by toxic masculinity. Maybe Muskrat should use his vast billions to buy himself a working brain, or at least some intro to media literacy class.
@RachelLeishman I can't imagine how far out someone must be to think Mando and Grogu was that horrible. No it didn't change the laws of cinema, but you're literally watching Mando for a fun adventure with his kid. Which this was. People really need to get a grip with their whining.
@ozsarsparella@PaulaCoyscot@silverhairedms Oh, just fuck off, Bubbles. You don't care about women at all, you just want someone to punch down on. Used to be queer people in general thirty years ago, now it's trans people. Same playbook, same bigotry.
@EmperorChris446@thesentrim Similarly, everything he does while with Val is him getting more and more manical, including delusions of grandeur, irritability, and then paranoia that ends in aggression towards her. That's not him being a different person - it's a manic episode.
@EmperorChris446@thesentrim The movie is not leaning towards DID. You can suffer memory loss from bipolar episodes. What Bob does at the end in the Void is berating himself and literally beating himself up, two things people with depression will do. The Void is Bob overwhelmed by his mental illness.
