D-backs pitcher Ryan Thompson, who is a proclaimed Christian, spoke on the MLB warning SF Giants players who wrote Bible verses on Pride Night caps:
"I think there's a perceived negativity with this stuff. Landen Roupp wrote a verse on his hat that means he's anti something. That doesn't mean that. It means that he's pro something. So the rainbow means something to him. It means that he believes in the Noahic Covenant being something that's special to us as Christians."
No authentic public photos exist of Michelle Obama visibly pregnant with Malia or Sasha.
She has confirmed the pregnancies came via IVF after a miscarriage. Searches across archives, news, and family releases turn up only post-birth photos and AI fakes. Pre-2004 privacy explains some of it, but the total absence remains notable.
Pratt’s top Statcast comp is his teammate to be, Joey Ortiz. The Brewers certainly have a type!

I don't know who still needs to hear me say it, but yeah, I was wrong about Jacob Misiorowski. I wish I could have foreseen the big leap in control this year -- as some others, to their credit, did -- but I didn't. And so I missed out. Framing every start he makes around the thing I said feels very Skip Bayless, so I try not to make it a regular habit, but yeah, I acknowledge it.
What I wouldn't want to do in response is shy away from making similarly bold bust calls because I'm afraid that the upside outcome could reflect poorly on me. I deliberately went the less-than-obvious route with my initial bust list this year and got quite a bit of pushback on it. A lot of those calls (Jackson Merrill, Alex Bregman, Nolan McLean, Robbie Ray, Jakob Marsee, Taylor Ward, Edward Cabrera, etc.) are looking pretty good right now (albeit with a long way to go still), but I'd rather not harp on that either. I'm always going to grade myself more on the reasoning than the results, because no matter how the results go, there has to be a *next* prediction. If I seize up because I got burned that one time, which is an instinct that I've had to fight throughout my career, my bust list will have all the impact of a wet dish rag.
But I do wish I had reasoned differently on Misiorowski. It would be nice to have some shares!
If you never saw Nolan Ryan in his prime...Jacob Misiorowski has that level of dominance with better control.
Best 8-game stretch of Ryan's career in baserunners allowed

Miz's current 8-game stretch

@BrewCrewScoop How dumb are these people? The #1 prospect in all of baseball has been traded ONCE in history, and for prime Chris Sale with 3 year of control.
@wisportsradio@CharlieUczen@SparkyRadio How does this contract make him a more attractive trade target? If he hadn't signed the extension, teams would still have six years of control and would be paying significantly less. It seems like the guaranteed money would make teams less willing to trade for him, not more.
@notbobkoz Another reason why a hypothetical Skubal trade would be especially valuable to any acquiring team: If he leaves, you could also recoup good value through the QO system.
