@OhRyanMead Nevermind making a case for Fox, I don’t understand how they’ve watched 35 games of an obviously (and hopefully) injured JT Miller and can say “yep, that’s an Olympian” with a straight face.
@jmarshfof They’re loading up to play a heavy game in a tournament where that style simply won’t be allowed. IIHF officiating won’t let these games come anywhere close to the physicality we saw at Four Nations.
@TheDougRush@JordanRaanan@espn Looking forward to next week’s piece by Paul Schwartz about how impressive Anarumo was in the interview. This is the most unserious team in a league that has plenty of unserious teams.
@Laf4MVP_ No, only because I have no faith that he'd be nothing more than a rental. Calling our rival's GM "Fitzy" in a scrum isn't making it feel all too promising he won't be a Devil no matter what trade does or doesn't happen.
@NYRLouie It would seem impossible to spend this much time in the o zone controlling the puck and only manage a single SOG in 12 minutes…but here we are.
@NYRLouie The lack of goals is obviously bad. But so are the types of goals. I understand teams need to get greasy goals, but that’s literally all we get. I genuinely can’t remember the last skilled goal this team has scored.
@Espngreeny "Completely the fault of franchise leadership" and "VERY attractive job for every available coach" cannot coexist.
Any HC (and GM for that matter) worth their salt, would sniff this job out for the 'set up to fail' situation it is.
@AlexWilsonESM In January, it’ll be 10 years since Coughlin was forced out. And every decision this ownership group has made since then is all the evidence I need to know there is a less than zero chance the Giants hire a competent GM and HC…let alone the best ones.
