Quand une équipe de génie française s’associe à une biotech israélienne pour mettre au point ce qui sera peut-être l’une des grandes avancées thérapeutiques dans le cancer du pancréas, forcément, cela me touche en plein cœur.
Au CHU de Grenoble, l’étude française Acapella évalue une technique ultraciblée développée avec la biotech israélienne Alpha Tau : des bâtonnets recouverts de radium 224 sont implantés directement au cœur de la tumeur, avec l’objectif de détruire les cellules cancéreuses tout en épargnant au maximum les tissus sains. Une première européenne a eu lieu en avril dernier au CHU de Grenoble.
La technologie vient des travaux de deux physiciens nucléaires de l’Université de Tel-Aviv, à l’origine de la start-up Alpha Tau, née il y a une dizaine d’années.

Ce que je retiens de cette histoire, c’est la place que tient un tout petit pays comme Israël dans la recherche mondiale : en biotechnologie, en médecine, en sciences fondamentales, il est démesurément présent par rapport à sa taille. Cette collaboration franco-israélienne en est une nouvelle preuve.

On February 5, 2024, a 14-year-old Palestinian approached Israeli Border Police near al-Eizariya, pulled a knife during a stop, and tried to stab an officer. He then ran across the road and was shot dead.

The full police video shows the approach, the knife, the lunge, and the shooting. Yet within hours, cropped versions that cut out the stabbing attempt started circulating. The story flipped: an “unarmed child” executed in cold blood.

Prominent accounts amplified the decontextualized clip and the inversion. Some still recirculate it 2 years later. The full footage was available the same day. The edited version spread further.

This isn’t a one-off. It’s a method. Remove the act of aggression, frame the response as the original crime, and watch institutions and large parts of the X platform treat the lie as contested opinion rather than deliberate fraud.

This is what X has become. It isn’t this platform of truth and free speech it was promised to be. It is simply a platform that amplifies untruths and revisionism while silencing the truth.

With the manner in which X allows lies to thrive and amplifies them, X and its leadership have blood on their hands. A lot of it. Jews across the West have been targeted, stabbed, shot and murdered because of such amplified lies and misinformation. The Bondi Massacre and murders and stabbings in Britain are prime examples.

In Buddhism we understand that every action comes with a consequence. Due to my decision to stand up for my Jewish friends I am losing a few people from my life. Today I parted company with Tony Pontius who has run my record label BGP for a number of years. I wanted to release 'We Will Dance Again' but he was unequivocal and said 'I want nothing to do with this song' and I responded 'ok, we are done'.
When someone is gutless it really does not hurt to say goodbye. My faith in humanity will not diminish and the truth will always win.
