@J_Anne_Bonne Their point is more in looks and design than the pokemon's overall gender. Chikorita looks more feminine, but people gripes with a pokemon most just comes down to certain factors like how people like Braixen, but think Delphox isn't consistent evolution wise.

I don’t know, there a Pokémon with feminine designs that people specifically goon for. For me Chikorita is just an unappealing Pokémon with unappealing stats, moveset, and an evolution line that is kinda dull. I mean if you want to consider it selective, but there’s other factors
