Yesterday, Nigeria's president delivered a leaked speech in response to the protests across the nation.

The event was called a live one but people read his speech along with him. The president delivered a cold impassioned response to Nigerians.

But guess who they are blaming today? Baba Adeboye because there's a prayer walk for the RCCG Annual Convention.

Imagine for a second that you were the head of Nigeria's most incompetent administration marked by extravagance, corruption, and catastrophic economic failure.

Would you be bothered about an uprising against you by your citizens if you knew they would always find someone else to share your due blame on?

Would you be bothered if you knew that the accountability that should hit you would go to a pastor who has no constitutional ability to affect the nation?

We are guessing not.

That is the same safety net Nigerians have given this government.

We pray we become free one day.

PS: Nigeria needs serious prayers. No nation endures and adapts to suffering this much.

A spirit must be involved. No one loves chains like Nigerians clearly do.

This is why we must pray. Thank God for RCCG Prayer Walk!

Have you noticed they only attack one faith, Christianity?

They rarely attack Judaism.
They rarely attack Islam.
They rarely attack Buddhism.
They rarely attack Hinduism.
They rarely attack Sikhism.

Only Christianity.

We call this the silver lining of persecution. It means there’s something to attack.

What? The salvation of the human soul. There’s no other religion that assures this.

Islam doesn’t. In Islam, your salvation isn’t about being holy. It is about doing more good than evil.

So, at the end of time, your good and bad deeds would be weighed on a scale.

If good exceeds bad, you make paradise. If it doesn’t, hell. So you don’t have to be good.

You can be 49% bad and 51% evil. That’s fine.

It’s why a video surfaced days ago in which a popular Islamic preacher said you could be murdering, raping a child daily as long as you pray, you’re better than one not doing all those but prays.

That’s why such is not attacked. Why? It doesn’t save. It doesn’t renew people from dead works.

Same with Judaism. Judaism leaves your salvation to you. Fulfil the impossible-to-fulfill law and be saved.

They don’t attack them. But only Christianity. Why?

Because there’s only one name given under heaven by which man would be saved:

Acts 4:12:

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

And that salvation involves the death of the old man and a new being.

This is a threat to a world that needs you in sin to make profit.

It needs you to love porn to keep the billion dollar porn industry thriving.

It needs you to love alcohol to keep bars and clubs open.

It needs you to love fornication to keep abortion going.

The world needs humans in sin. That is how Satan is glorified.

So, a religion that kills that nature of sin is a threat to them. This is why they hate your faith.

Therefore, fellow Christians, hold on to your faith. That’s your only defense. If your gospel is corrupted, they have won.

Stand for the gospel. Stand by the gospel. Stand on the gospel.

Know the Bible well. Pray without ceasing. Stay with other believers. That is how we stay holy and win.
