@edmundmcmillen@TylerGlaiel solo, Steven controlled necromancer run and dybbuk won’t leave my cat. Does numbing leaches (+) stop this interaction or does Steven? I’ve tried 3 times and each time it just ends with my cat dying to exhaustion as it will just end its turn each turn
@AR5343789262649@VintageStory_ Yeah, I love chiseling but it just tends to not match the other built in furniture because it’s pixelated vs smooth texturing
@OEdengrall@VintageStory_@xozk0v Definetly would *have* to be late game cause that would completely remove the need for both forms of travel implemented in 1.20 😅maybe the blueprint gets locked behind the final lore location or something. So you can only get it once you’ve progressed through the story
@OEdengrall@VintageStory_@xozk0v Oh that would be sick. Progressive ship sizes?? Takes higher tiered metals to make bolts for or something? Air ship would be sick too like a big blimp?
@tragicallygingy I hope in an upcoming update mods like that and others that almost everyone who does play with mods use get implemented into the base game.
@OEdengrall@xozk0v@VintageStory_ Agreed with above. Sometimes things get in the way, or sometimes modders move on. I’ve seen many good mods in other games fall away because their developer moved on. Sometimes they get busy and sometimes even the final build changes codes enough that it takes a bit to update to.
@OEdengrall@VintageStory_ This is the worst part of it all, until some of those *core* mods most people play with become part of base game, it’s another waiting game for them to release. But if that’s the worst part of the game, I’ll be a happy individual
By crafting an atlas or something? Maybe this is more of a mod idea. I just see with exploration such a huge thing coming in 1.20 I think these could fit with that general theme.
@VintageStory_ So I know there was a bit of overall disagreement on the new map not having color. And I know there’s commands to change it back to full color. What’s your thoughts on maybe the ability to add dyes to your map, maybe a jug slot or something, that unlocks color?
This puts colored maps which I think everyone can agree can be strong at finding specific things, like clay patches or Peat, behind a bit of a progress wall. And maybe even a step further for those hardcore players who play without a map, what if we could “unlock” the map
@VintageStory_ Is there a design reason to make it so the parchment on crates loses its design every time the last item is removed? I love having the parchment crates in my storage but I feel like its just an extra step to have to recharcoal it if I accidentally grab out too much
