Folks, I have never made a TikTok before and I have no plans to. There are several fake accounts of me with 10,000+ followers each that are impersonating me and I continue to get messages from people who believe they are communicating with me on these profiles. Simple rule for any social media - if there’s no verified badge, it ain’t me. I know for a fact these impersonators have scammed people out of their money before given some of the messages I’ve received.

@tiktok_us has done nothing to remove these fake accounts despite the fact that they have been reported multiple times.

The incident was caught on camera by a customer and she posted it on her Tik Tok.

🛶 Search Underway for Kayaker Jason Hogard on the Angelina River Near CR 2604 🔍

Nacogdoches County, TX — Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas DPS, and the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office are searching for 44-year-old Jason Patrick Hogard.

Hogard told family he was going kayaking yesterday afternoon and was updating a relative along the Angelina River. His last message was that he had come across another creek and was going the wrong way. A location ping yesterday afternoon possibly placed him near CR 2604, the Angelina River, Gibbons Creek, and Bingham Creek. Officials believe his phone battery died.

Hogard is a white male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, and work boots. His kayak is gray.

DPS has assigned air resources to the search. Anyone in the area is asked to watch for him.
