@davidasinclair It depends on which threshold both curves are asymptotically approaching. From this graph the longevity curve seems to be going up pretty steady but the fertility rate seems to be approaching a threshold. Fertility might hit a lower threshold while longevity continues to climb.
I just finished reading this Micronauts Compendium of the 1st 20 issues. I started reading this comic back when it came out and I was 12. I thought it was the best space opera ever and I have to say I still love it 47 years later!

@mblondel_ml I also find it super useful to talk with a LLM about some of the interesting points im reading. The discussions and feedback I get help me think more deeply about what I am reading without needing the responses to be 100% factual.
