@LudwigNverMises Reindustrializing is great, but we won't tax ourselves into prosperity with Trumpy tariffs. Government can encourage capital investment and saving by reducing inflation and government spending. This is the way to encouraging the development of domestic industrial production.

@seanmdav I first joined the Libertarian Party in 1987. I left in early 2025, and it was a completely different thing by then. It went from Ron Paul and less government to the total clown show it is now.

@JulieBorowski I was a right-libertarian LP member at the time, and I don't think it was a scheme. We were really disappointed. This arises from the nature of nomination conventions. Left-libertarians did a great job of motivating me to leave the LP though.

@MattH_4America You're right. Voting as an expression of your values makes sense. All the people trying to get you to vote their preference want you to believe that your single vote will determine the outcome, which no one believes, and they actually support the corrupt DC establishment anyway.
