@PAFC and @MacronSports have outdone themselves this AFL season.
From the all-teal Gather Round top to the Invincibles prison bar guernsey, the club is doing an amazing job with its secondary outfits for season 2026.
Honouring the Invincibles ๐ค๐ค
Our 2026 Prison Bar guernsey pays tribute to the unbeatable team responsible for one of Port Adelaideโs most dominant eras.

Melbourne's two Big Bash League teams are reportedly set to be combined, as part of a major T20 competition revamp.

The @AFL should encourage all footballers and officials to wear blue armbands this weekend in honour of Neale Daniher. No matter the level of competition or where the game is played, this would be a fitting tribute to a great man.
The second time this season that @PAFC has been outplayed for the entire game.
To be 3-8 at the bye means a top-6 finish is gone, but the wildcard may still be a possibility if the side produces a better second half of the season.
2008/09 - @afcbournemouth begins its League Two campaign on -17 points and faces relegation to non-league football.
May 2026 - The Cherries set to finish 6th in the @premierleague and play European football next season.
Thatโs your fairytale sports story.
Still remember this overcast Saturday afternoon at Whitten Oval. The win was celebrated like it was a final.
What's often forgotten is that it was 364 days since Fitzroy's last win - round 8, 1995 in Adelaide... and there would have been 50 Roys fans at that game.
Two bursts by the Suns is what cost @PAFC tonight, yet somehow the side had the chance to open the game in the last 5 minutes. A key game awaits next weekend, but what impact would the conditions have on the players?
For @PAFC to be this close at the end of the game after the Bulldogs scored the opening 3 goals of the game was a surprise. It would be nice to be on the winning end of a close result in season 2026.
A future forward ๐ for @PAFC recognised for his emerging talent. Heโs a favourite in our household, with my Melbourne supporting son anointing Jack and Charlie Curnow as his favourite players from other clubs.
Despite the result, thereโs many positives to come out of the game for @PAFCโฆ

Weโll be stronger next time around.
Like last yearโs final round victory against the Suns, tonightโs win by @PAFC highlights the future of this club. A result not many predicted, but a big week to come against the cross-town rivals.
A fair result for @PAFC, but it leaves the @AFL needing to look at how it conducts tribunal hearings. This result could result in a return to in-person hearings as a precedent has been set.
The way @PAFC fought this game out is commendable. We had our chances to win it, but to come back after the first term is a sign that the next few weeks may produce a few surprises.
As a @PAFC member and former umpire, Iโve chosen to observe this case rather than join the commentary.
Now this has reached the appeal stage, Iโm happy to point this out: Umpires, from community ranks up, spend time each year preparing for tribunals. Players donโt.
Port Adelaide will appeal the AFL Tribunal's decision to find Zak Butters guilty of using abusive and insulting language towards an umpire.
The club believes strongly in Butters' account of events and will formally contest the verdict.

Here's the issue with the media covering the @AFL. There's more reports on "opinions" than actual news, thanks to the overabundance of review shows. All are competing for relevance.
As for this "idea", the Power and Crows would oppose it as the crowd would be less than 50,000.
"I think it [the Showdown] is that big that at some stage it could go to the MCG."
Bravery is Damo once again arguing this in front of an Adelaide crowd ๐

A slow start cost @PAFC tonight. The Power were the better side in the 2nd half. A 2-3 record after 5 rounds was not what the club wanted, especially with a tough 5 weeks to come.
It took some time to determine the result, but @PAFC is 2-2 after the opening month of the season. The next 6 weeks will show where the team is in its development, thanks to games against 4 of last seasonโs top 6 sides.
