Congratulations to Harry Bent (Gullane) Aidan Lawson (Bruntsfield Links), Greg Mclellan (Stirling) and Oliver Robertson (Deeside) for winning their quarter-finals this afternoon.

Harry holed a ‘bucketload’ of putts to defeat top seed Andrew Davidson in the round of 16 before coming back from two down through with two to play to win against Jamie Whittet with a birdie on the first extra hole.📹

Aidan Lawson produced a sparkling approach shot on 18 to set up a birdie against Harvey Broadfoot to win by a hole and follow up a 3&2 morning win against Cameron Twynholm.

Greg’s glory run continued after winning his morning match with a birdie on the 18th following an approach that lipped out for eagle. The Loch Lomond greenkeeper then took the scalp of Scotland men’s team player Ross Laird with a 3&2 afternoon win.

Oli’s place in the semis came after a 4&2 morning win against good friend Jamie McDonald followed by solid 2&1 victory over Rhys McIlroy.
