Everyone can now book an appointment if there is one available without waiting for email. It’s on @ukvcas web updates.

They will refund your fee if there is. You have have to take a pinch of salt every time you call but just do it

There is absolutely no harm doing so. They wouldn’t even ask. There is definitely technical issue in handling bios on their system. UKVCAS says bios are sent within 24hours but UKVI doesn’t get it straight away on their system by some reason.

I got my approval today! Can just go ahead for a f2f appointment. They dont even ask if you have submitted idv. I applied through a solicitor and none of his either clients have got approval even they applied in March/April

However, I think @GOVUK and @ukvcas should have listened to our concerns and tried to fix the issues. We don’t deserve a different treatment compared to post lockdown applicants.

So basically only today my bio submitted via IDV app been located and they offered to refund my appointment fee. Still have not yet got a decision yet. Will be waiting forever!

#UKVI and @ukvcas please work together better ;(. I had to send updates to my new employer and these aren’t good. People applied a lot later than me have had their visa granted and I am here still waiting for nearly 4months. Please help!
