Here's the MoS story as it appears in the paper. And to be clear, it was a minority section of Man City's support who invoked Helen's death in their attacks against me. I rarely even referred to her illness before she died.

[Stan Collymore @StanCollymore]

One of the greatest players I've ever had the privilege to see.

In a day and age where prices are bandied around like confetti I honestly don't think you could put a price on what his capabilities were.

Now, you get one type of midfielder who sits on one position, passes it 10 yards max and it worth £100m.

Then you get another type of midfielder who adds average attacking thrust. Another £100m

Then, you have captains who don't open their fucking mouths for 90 minutes, called" leaders ". Another £100m

He was a team's best defender, best holding midfielder, best leader, best attacking midfielder and most important match winner.

Priceless. Truly priceless.

Cheating on an industrial scale is not okay just because you invest in some community projects…

A wall of punchy guitars, driving rhythms and hypnotic grooves make @thekowloons new single totally addictive and show why are they Liverpool’s next big thing

So Etihad are threatening to sue the Premier League over the PL's verdict that Man City systematically got involved in "sham" contracts, including with Etihad. State-owned airline Etihad sides with City.
Yeah, totally surprising development, ahem. 1/n

New Premier League season kicks off in less than an hour and it's 3 and a half years since the PL charged Man Cit with 115 alleged breaches of PL rules and almost 2 years since disciplinary hearing concluded. Absolutely ridiculous that there's been zero transparency on this 1/n

If anyone sees a Pep hagiography piece about him leaving City that mentions either his drug test failures as a player and / or his spending as a City manager related to serial punishments for financial breaches, pls let me know. Genius yep. Flawed, yep.

[No Question About That @nqatpod]

It's worth putting the Southampton penalty in some context. Chelsea were charged with something like 74 cases of financial impropriety, paying agents and entities off the books over a decade, and received just a fine. Manchester City have been found guilty twice by UEFA. Fined. They face another 115, well, maybe 130, additional charges from the PL. Guilt and penalty yet to be decided.
