Exciting News!!!
It's been a busy couple months for our Artificial Turf Installation Business. We have opened two new locations under our Artificial Grass Pros brand in Austin and Atlanta. In the background, we spent the past two years building the playbook and corporate infrastructure to become a national company.
Now, we are now looking to partner with artificial turf installers that are leaders in their market. We are excited to have found the first great partner in Rocky Mountain Turf.
Over the next 3 years, we want to be able to offer our services across the majority of turf markets in the US and are looking for market leaders in their city that would like to partner with us.
@DanKats23 Switch days and do it right with multiple people. Mention that you are waiving weekend fee. The client wants the job done well.
Check Facebook for available cleaners and be upfront about the scope and joining a team in screening. Will have time to background check them.
Employees don’t work for their bosses, they work for their families.
Today was about reinforcing high standards and how we will win as a team. Then members can better support their families.
Going to be a good year for this team💪
@SMB_Attorney Check out @cidercade in Dallas for a similar concept with kids and video games.
Or maybe you can argue it’s a similar concept for adults and video games🤣
@MikeBotkin_ Was the valuation based on reaching a singular target (ie $10M of revenue) or a method of valuing the business at a later stage (ie 3.5x ttm earnings)?
@DanKats23 We do, the amount is based on performance from the previous year(s).
We also give out awards for Employee of the Year, Perfect Attendance, Best Team Player, and more. Note that we use W2’s.
Happy to discuss offline.
@DanKats23 I was asked this in residential. The client asked to be added on Worker’s Comp so that they could drop their personal policy.
I told them that I was advised not to discuss (true). I think she was checking whether we had it. The crazy thing: she worked in the insurance industry.
@DanKats23 One task that helped us in evaluation:
-Gathering 3 bad complaints
-Anonymizing them
-Sending them to candidates
-Asking them to type a proposed email to the client
-Ask them how they would respond internally (to super, to staffer)
This is after we walk through mission & values
@LoganARobison I suggest dropping the “cleaner’s name” incentive and reward them for the 5-star regardless. Great reviews praise your company and you know which cleaner(s) worked the job so they still get the incentive.
