@JDW303i@financedystop A lot of these guys have like 10 mil in an investment account with just SPY or some S&P mutual fund they’ve grown and contributed too over the past 20 years doing they same exact thing every year. They’ve got the money for the Gwagon or whatever they want but they live frugally
@Musecases He won’t be remembered 600 years from now. He’s impressive forsure but only guys like Zuck, Bezos, Gates, and Elon will be from this current cohort. You don’t touch grass enough. Blue collar mfers who make up the majority of the workforce aren’t going to know who that kid is
@relliK_booN@LinderShowMiami@RasheeTouchdown I have little understanding of how Vegas comes up with point spreads, models, etc as well, but are they not running simulations and probability assessments that are similar to this? Is this some completely new way of looking at the game that gives an edge? Genuinely curious
@DesireeAmerica4 What does Buck have to do with any of this? Yeah they are partners but you get yours where you can. Did Troy expect a packaged deal? ESPN is negotiating with Troy, what does that have to do with Buck? Why is Troy mad at Buck for being paid? I don’t get it.
@DesireeAmerica4 I don’t understand why Troy would be pissed at Buck. What does Buck have to do with ESPN not paying Troy before the season started. Buck doesn’t make those decisions. ESPN re-upped Bucks contract which you think Troy would be stoked about for a friend of 25+ years.
@rustycohl@jchilla2@WestsideLAGuy That takes some mental fortitude from her to just let that go, see I respect that. It’s not very common because I think for the most part people really like to have the last word, especially when it comes to their ego being hurt, but I do respect it
@rustycohl@jchilla2@WestsideLAGuy i would normally agree that she ghosts but I do think she takes a day, it bothers her, she replays it over and over in her and then and he gets a novel back. I would handicap that outcome higher than 50%. She would have my respect if she was able to fully ghost from that though
@vrexec My grandma using the American mutual funds from Capital Group. She crushed in small cap blend and had a really nice CAGR from the 70s or 80s and a nice nest egg. She was an accountant for 30+ years and was one of the most frugal and financially disciplined people I’ve met
