@CongoSwiss@saintjavelin@Rebel44CZ Russian Government knows it was ISIS but they will tell the Russian People who will then believe what they are told that it is Ukraine to further justify their invasion.

@fckthscrap@RJohnHayes1@latann@githii To be fair, it's not part of the culture because there is no other option. This is compounded by the lack of 3rd space for people, and kids are incredibly sheltered here.
@RGioviano@WallStreetSilv But it did, she took out 80k as a loan, has paid 120k and still owes 76k... She clearly can afford the education and has paid it back.
@pootlepress The mobile user interface has gotten exceptionally bad in recent updates with blocks but that might be more of a personal issue.
If we are going to add a form plugin we might want to add an SMTP service atleast basic (could even just be code to slap in wp-config)
@pootlepress I think this is a good feature but this is a rabbit hole that will take a lot of time to level out or worse it will get started and then dropped in an incomplete state. But, I would like to add that there are a lot of missing core features that should be integrated.
@pootlepress Other good missing core features.
1. There are no base SEO features in core (every other cms platform has basic settings)
2. im just gonna say the media library needs work
3. no built in page caching or any caching period
4. no 2fa huge security oversight.
@robbietweets@brookshoffos@verge This, but also WeChat actually did its job well meanwhile twitter has declining users and weird inconsistent choices by its owner. Additionally, twitter isn't as much of a staple in peoples lives as WeChat.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene The United States routinely has the highest number of incarcerated citizens in the entire world while having a significantly higher homicide rate, the repercussions aren't working we need rehabilitation.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene We could keep locking everyone up which I think being "tough on crime" is the right thing to do but what we do once those individuals are in prison is what matters. If they go there to rot and get let out with no opportunity to do better they are just going to get sent back in.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene TN has the 4th highest violent crime rate in the country. which has been increasing. Being "soft on crime" is certainly not the problem with TN. It's a systemic issue with the criminal justice system in this country which keeps folks cycling in and out with no path forward.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene I think the lawlessness that goes on is terrible and we see the implications of that everywhere particularly in states with above-average homicide rates and it needs to be dealt with.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene The point of this is not to discredit the ops comment the TN government does run a balanced budget around 38% of the budget comes from federal funding. The point to other commenters is that you can cherry picky any stat from any any state to make it sound however you want.
@DChambers1911@titanharry@NashvilleScene Stats are fun. You mean the state where 15% of the population is below the poverty line. Or the state with the 9th highest homicide mortality rate. Or the state that forces women of rape and incest to give birth. Or, the state with the 10th highest firearm mortality rate.
