@AlbertoEspay@NEJM Did these trials (or others) result in less aSyn in brain? If so did they characterize which types of aSyn was removed (soluble, oligomers, fibrils, etc)? Thank you for summarizing!
@dave_andersen One more question for you. My wife and I recovered from covid ~5 wks ago. My mom had it starting 17 days ago, took paxlovid & mAb and feels good now, but antigen test still positive. How would you think about the risk to my wife and I of staying with her?
@dave_andersen@EricTopol@Bob_Wachter Curious for the current variants how well (and which) mAbs may work? Also any data on timing (I know earlier the better but not sure if there is more granular data available)?
@dave_andersen For an at risk individual (~70 yrs old, obese) who has been vaxxed + 1 booster (>6 mo ago), what is the most recent data on Paxlovid? Am unclear on good quality evidence for triple vaxxed pts, and also I heard some reports of symptoms declining then rebounding.
@dave_andersen Day 7 from symptoms, Day 6 from first antigen positive test. Still (faintly) positive on antigen test. Trying to figure out how contagious I am at this point. Any thoughts / data you could point me towards?
@dave_andersen Could you help share the best data on efficacy of 4th shot (in particular for older pple)? I have below NEJM study but anything else would be very helpful

@dave_andersen Any thoughts on this, in particular Fig 4B showing that desk shields actually increase likelihood of COVID positive cases?
