@No3sports I agree but isn’t the job of the RC to project on what they think a player will become? Targeting and offering said player was a choice.
In the past they would just push players out of the program who didn’t pan out.
Now their mistakes have consequences.
System is broken.
@MLBNow@MLBNetwork@Reds Lenny Dykstra hired a private investigator to follow umpires around to collect info he could use against them… pretty sure he finished 2nd in MVP voting that year.
@CFBHome@JosephRGuzman This is such a fantastic post… not because it’s dumping on these programs, but because it’s exposing what these polls actually mean, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Two players strike out looking.
One blames the umpire.
The other is upset because he missed a fastball earlier in the at-bat he should’ve driven.
One protects his ego.
One improves.
Which hitter are you?
Worth noting that all 3 colleges in Spokane, WA w/ baseball programs won championships and playoff birth in their respective conferences this year. #Spokane#Baseball
Not just a hoops town.

Reminder for catchers to PREPARE the umpire for the pitcher you are catching. Give the umpire a quick scouting report on your guys arsenal. FB movement, shape of breaking ball, what area of zone he is most effective, ect. Want to make sure umpire not caught off guard by a pitch because of how it plays. Example: “Hey Tim (Umpire) this reliever Nolan Ryan has an explosive FB at top of the zone. Where we plan to live. CB is a hammer 12-6 shape. Will use change vs lefties that sinks. Hasn’t walked anyone since he was 12 yrs old.” Exchange can be quick. Main thing is to make sure ump is not caught off guard by a pitch in a big situation.
If you decide to pull your child from public school and homeschool your child
You should get the full $13,000 for your child that would have been spent on your child in public school
There was never 1 game where I felt 100%. Early on I accepted it as a part of my position (catcher) and that I had to live with it and grind through it everyday.
@Jungle__Jay During Covid local schools would provide free lunches for kids. We’d ride our bike down once per week & pick up a cold lunch. 3/4 of it went in the trash. Didn’t qualify as food. GMO’s, high sugar, literal crap. 1 of many reasons my kids are no longer in the govt school system
