@PushinUpRoses Mr. Dressup was such a staple of my childhhod! The drawings, the make believe stories and plays told, the puppetry, all very much probably an influence on my artistic endeavors as an adult.
@PushinUpRoses Strange Animal was a great album with lots of basically unknown songs that I still listen to! Great Dirty World another classic to check out.
@IDEASOFICE_FIRE Not wrong and less controversial than describing it as "Time Dilation Viet Nam War in Space with no country for old heterosexual veterans except for more war"
Good book and someday I need to read the others that followed.
@SSkorkowsky I listened to this movie so many times for the soundtrack and loved the over the top dialogue. It got me hooked on Michael Pare's B Movie career and inspired a cyberpunk game session or two.
@SSkorkowsky I'm currently working on an Ultraviolet Grasslands adventure that draws heavily from Thundarr! It holds a warm fuzzy place in my childhood memories of strange cartoons and has certainly inspired a number of things I've thrown into D&D games I've run.
@PushinUpRoses In the epic Call of Cthulhu TTPRG adventure, Horror on the Orient Express, Professor Julius Smith is the primary Quest Giver for the PCs.
