Remember what Trump did to North Carolina a couple of years ago after they got hit by a different hurricane? Roy Cooper (D) was governor then. Trump withheld federal funding for about 2 weeks on purpose while people were flooded out of their homes around the coast & further inland.

BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin goes for Donald Trump’s jugular and demands that he return the $7.8 million his companies corruptly received from foreign governments while he was president.

Taking the gloves off, Raskin sent a letter demanding the money be returned after a bombshell report from the House Oversight and Accountability Committee revealed that Trump used the White House to enrich his companies.

Twenty different foreign countries funneled money into Trump businesses — including China and Saudi Arabia, a blatant violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

"Your acceptance of foreign emoluments while in office was a stunning violation of the U.S. Constitution — and a profound betrayal of the interests of the United States and the trust of the American people," wrote Raskin.

Crucially, Raskin pointed out that the $7.8 million is just the tip of the iceberg because Republicans scuttled the investigation before it could uncover the full extent of the corruption.

"Critically, the report was unable to provide a full accounting of the total amount of foreign emoluments you accepted as President, and thus, was unable to determine precisely what you owe to the American people," Raskin wrote. "You spent years litigating against the Committee to prevent us from obtaining any documents regarding the foreign emoluments you received while in office."

Raskin put the problem in simple terms: these countries gave money to Trump's companies because they wanted "favors and specific policy outcomes from" Trump and his administration, many of which they obtained.

Returning the money is a good start, but justice will not be served until Trump is prosecuted for turning the White House into a personal moneymaking scam.

BREAKING: Hunter Biden's daughter Naomi bravely wades into the fray to defend her father against MAGA Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who boasted that she made Hunter "flee" a house committee.

Greene wants us to believe that she made Hunter Biden run by exposing the "truth" about his family. In reality, Hunter showed up at a hearing and surprised the House Oversight and Accountability Committee ahead of a vote to formally recommend that he be held in contempt of Congress.

Hunter and his team then left the room as Greene was being recognized to speak because they understandably had no interest in listening to her smears and conspiracy theories, prompting her to call him a "coward."

Later, Greene tweeted a clip of Hunter's exist, mocking that "his daddy can’t save him this time."

It was then that Naomi Biden stepped in. She retweeted Greene's attack with the caption: "Actually, it appears everyone fled the scene when she started lying."

- He had to declare bankruptcy SIX times, including for a casino. A CASINO!!!!

- He paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 so that nobody would know he had sex with her. NOW WE ALL KNOW.

- He paid an "expert" witness $877,000 to testify in the civil fraud trial where he is accused of overvaluing his assets. The guy testified "The value of Donald trump's triplex was inflated."

- He inherited a thriving, humming economy from President Obama and left it with 3 million FEWER jobs than it had at his inauguration, the absolute WORST jobs President in American history.

And people want that titanic, clueless clod to run the United States economy?
