what a world, eh?
JFC
nobody would have believed ANY of this crap even 15 years ago. what a shitshow it all turned out to be.
this is twitter.
settle down...
@felixtennis@rogerfederer well said, felix.
beautiful celebration last night. tough one today with matteo again. we love you, man... keep bringing it, wherever you go.
😃🫠🎾🇬🇧🇨🇦
for all the cdn right-wingnuts so bereft at the notion that our current PM sang a tune in a hotel bar, & losing their minds over it all.... maybe some of you are old enough to remember stevie harper and his musical musings..... yes?
people have fucking lives. deal with it.
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup anyway, todd, i won't keep you. just some thoughts. the laver cup is great fun. jealous of you being IN the arena last night. long live king roger.
enjoy the rest of it. i know i shall, always about an hour behind on my pvr 🤪 (i hate commercials)
cheers, from a part aussie cdn
let's be honest... tim henman & todd woodbridge were a little harsh talking about @felixtennis's match with matteo today on tv at @lavercup in london
they weren't wrong, but they were way too blunt. too much 'clinical' analysis involved & we can all see what's happening on court
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup i don't worry 2 much about FAA.
i do worry about shappy tho. so much talent, w spotty results most of this year. with him its ALL in the head, i think. FAA is more grounded in 'process' as you said, but the best was you both saying FAA needs a target so the choice is made FOR HIM
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup but so much of success in this sport can be wildly random. someone gets injured & you're in the draw. a bad call sets an opponent off. so much of it has NOTHING to do with the match at hand. that's the mental side of it all & how that gets handled IN-match.
FAA's learning.
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup sometimes players drive us crazy, tho we love them. & sometimes i just mute the bloody commentators, cuz THEY drive me crazy. you didn't get muted today, so there's that! 😉
felix is SOO close to big things. my fave thing tim said was 'he's young there's lots of time'. all true!
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup look, i get it - you're broadcasting to lots who DON'T play tennis so there's always the push/pull of what to focus on, be it technical stuff or that felix plays great piano. you can't please all the people. mostly what i'm recounting is FRUSTRATION re FAA's results, as a fan.
@toddwoodbridge@felixtennis@LaverCup todd, as a cdn who watches FAA play ALL the time, its just hard hearing the obvious stuff about the mental wanderings & the bad errors. in a perfect world, felix just wins and you guys don't get to cut him up on tv.
but it ain't a perfect world. poor johnny mac! it is what it is
@seanhannity is THIS guy a 'model citizen' to YOU @seanhannity?
he sure isn't to me, and i just read 222 pgs telling me precisely why he is NOT a 'model citizen'. lol
@seanhannity hey sean.... call us when joe's the one naked cavorting with hookers, won't you?
cuz as far as i know hunter's got jack shit to do with anything important. that's his pop's gig.
or do you want us to get don jr's coke dealer on tv?
$130.6 million - fed's career prize money earnings.
from forbes mag:
'Incredibly, that represents less than 12% of his career earnings total before taxes and agents’ fees, with Federer having earned roughly $1 billion from endorsements, appearances and other business endeavors'
@tom__builder@fake_biden@travisakers@NickAgain8@JRMajewski its a good thing you don't know my uncle..... cuz he'd be PISSED! lol
'i kept that file sealed for 47 years.... only to have some guy on twitter blow it wide open... with his mind. i need a labatt's'
