@KirscheVerstahl @eurofounder It's... not actually that hot here. I mean... I have a desk fan, but it's not too hot to sleep and the heat wave is down to have lasted a whole... 3 DAYS! (Tomorrow we're down to 24c, London is down to 26c on Sunday). It's a non-story. We used to call it 'Summer'.

It's hot, but air-con would be a waste of money for 3 days of this a year.

@dracoguardian30 @pipkinpippa Believe it or not... you can still buy and own guns in the UK. You'll be severely limited on what they are, but you can get shotguns and small, non-automatic arms fairly easily... as long as you have a reason to own them and no serious criminal record.

Probably worse in the Cities, but if you're in a city in the UK nowadays you have other things to worry about.
