@CarlHayes2@faithslei@nicksortor Remarkably, also used for France, the Netherlands, Czechia, Iceland, Luxenberg, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Russia.
@benonwine I live in a small town in the North-West. A van turned up one night and all the ornamental ducks and geese we had were stolen... Nowadays we just have a few wild ducks and seagulls :P
@teomanonline_ Kinda.... you just have to add a load of pot-holes, the green-grocers will have converted itself into a deli... and there won't be any ducks, because someone rolled up in a van in the night and stole them all. (speaking from experience)
@KirscheVerstahl@eurofounder It's... not actually that hot here. I mean... I have a desk fan, but it's not too hot to sleep and the heat wave is down to have lasted a whole... 3 DAYS! (Tomorrow we're down to 24c, London is down to 26c on Sunday). It's a non-story. We used to call it 'Summer'.
@hpdri@Belbizaz@Pies_of_Lee Well... if you ignore all the crack-heads they imported because they could cram them into the old boarding houses on the DHS.
@Memphisblue4@pipkinpippa I've yet to have a night where it's too hot to sleep. We've had those in the past so... I'm a sceptic on the current temperature.
It's hot, but air-con would be a waste of money for 3 days of this a year.
@dracoguardian30@pipkinpippa Believe it or not... you can still buy and own guns in the UK. You'll be severely limited on what they are, but you can get shotguns and small, non-automatic arms fairly easily... as long as you have a reason to own them and no serious criminal record.
@pipkinpippa To be honest, it's not THAT hot... I mean... I'm quite comfortable and all I have is a 4" desk fan....
Probably worse in the Cities, but if you're in a city in the UK nowadays you have other things to worry about.
