@KnowingBetterYT Eh, we got my daughter who was failing because she had severe OCD through her therapy and to the point that we could get her back mainstreamed in a public school by homeschooling. She’s a junior in regular school now and I think we did ok. I did it for three years.

That is at the heart of the mismanagement. We don’t have public safety because we privatized the schools that aren’t incentivized to educate because the bare minimum standards keep their charter. A criminal class is created because we have a generation of an under educated class. The mismanagement of a DA is symptom of the problem. If the DAs office did everything you requested it would affect the cause of the crime. Add that the resources the police need aren’t there because it’s diverted to private entities. Same with Public Works. We aren’t naive to what is causing the dysfunction of New Orleans. We jockey for power to hand out contracts and raid the treasury. Yet openly cook the books to keep charter schools in business that don’t develop an educated workforce. If our kids aren’t prepared, they are preparing to fail. They cant participate in the ordinary economy so they participate in the underground economy: crime. Ask the criminologists and psychologists

@roh_schach I don’t say this often but sometimes the only way to get through issues like this is to separate finances and tasks. That way he is responsible for meeting his sensory needs within budget.
